Para conseguir una tarjeta SIM en la Inia, tienes que presentar los siguientes documentos en versiones originales y en fotocopias: Pasaporte Fotografías Visa India Una dirección local con documentos. Comprobante de la dirección local y otros dependiendo del proveedor de la tarjeta SIM y los requerimientos del vendedor. Dentro de 15 horas posteriores a la exitosa verificación de tu información la tarjeta SIM de la India debería estar activada. A partir de ese momento podrás regresar a la misma tienda a hacer una recarga a tu celular. Tendrás que asegurarte de permanecer en la misma zona en donde compraste la tarjeta SIM para que la activación proceda. Por ejemplo, si compraste una tarjeta SIM local en Delhi, no puedes continuar el proceso de activación si has viajado fuera de Delhi. Tienes que hacerlo dentro de la misma zona en la que se otorga la tarjeta. El gobierno de la India implementó un sistema de tarjetas SIM BSNL gratuitas para turistas y tarjetas SIM internacionales que se vendían en los aeropuertos. También es posible que tengas que repetir todo el proceso de la documentación con un número diferente ya que tu solicitud podría ser rechazada y entonces tendrás que esperar dos días más.
